Migration and Language Conference, 2013
Migration Studies hosted a one-day conference on Migration and Language on November 22nd, 2013, at the Foster Auditorium of Penn State. About 100 students and scholars attended. In addition to the scholars from member institutions of the Worldwide Universities Network (i.e., York University, Bristol University, and Leeds University in UK; University of Sydney in Australia; University of Cape Town in South Africa; Hong Kong Baptist University and Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong; and University of Wisconsin at Madison in the US) there were also presenters from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, and University of Maryland.
